NYC teacher help!!!
dh was hired at the beginning of the summer. but hasn't received any info on pay, benefits, etc.
he has a case number so he is in the system.
what happened when you were first hired? any advice is appreciated. tia

His UFT rep will get him info on benefits on the first day he goes back. There is a lot of paperwork to fill out, so this way they get everyone together and only have to say everything once.
As for salary, there is a scale. You can find it easily online. He's at step 1A (First year, first semester) and you have to find what education level he has to find his salary (MA, MA + 15, etc.)
