PCOS / Met ladies
I've been on it for 3 weeks now and up to 1500mg / day.
Do you find that it decreases your appetite?
Also, did you get any bloating around your abdomen?

I was on it for 2 years actually conceived my son on it. I also lost a lot of weight once I started too, but then the bad stomach cramps and constantly running to the bathroom started. Make sure you eat something before you take it!

Oh yea, same here  I always take it with food. But I feel like I am not as hungry as I used to be and my middle is so bloated...(so my fat PCOS jelly ring is even worse   )

The bloating, well I know I learned to live with it. I actaully came off of met in July and started clomid. I am just as bloaty with the clomid as the metformin. I think it is what we out our bodies through. I know when I walk it helps elevate the pressure. I just hate pants with buttons and zippers. I am going back to school next week and dreading putting on clothes. The bloating I find is to get worse during the afternoon! 15OO mg thats a lot I was on 500mg.

Yep, I definitely gained weight in my middle (bloat) from the met (1500mg). Add to it all the fertility drugs I was on, and my stomach is DEFINITELY not the same! The joys of met...

I take 1500mg also, but I usually take all 3 at night. I am not usually bloated at all! This week I am but I think it's the combo of met and clomid.
