Job Help for Dad
it's time Dad get out of the house and get back to work. Both emotionally and financially, he needs to do this.
So I am reaching out for help.
Dad is a senior citizen, fully functioning, very computer literate, sweetie of a man. Drives just fine although doesn't want a driving job.
His skills include, excel, quicken/quickbooks/word/access and others even I don't know. He would like to work as a part time bookeeper for a sole practitioner or small firm that needs bookeeping services but really doesn't need a full time person. He is in suffolk, north shore and will travel about 20 minutes or so. Maybe 2-3 days and week and maybe a little more.
I was thinking a sole practitioner physician, (excellent with health insurance companies), attorney, small retail store, etc..
he is happiest when working. After about a year taking care of my brother things are calming down and he is ready to work again. Also, it will get him out of the house away from my mother!
Really great skills and can charm the pants off of even the nastiest customer.
Please let me know if anything comes to mind. I can forward his resume.
I've made my plea..after that it's up to him.
ps..dad has run medium sized firms before and is quite adept at handling all benefits and retirement plans as well.
thanks for reading. FM me!
pps..can you tell I love him?

Re: Job Help for Dad
I hope my children turn out half as sweet as you!
Tell him to check out the Department of Labor. Tehy actually have a brochure for people who are over 65 looking to return to the work force!
