I dont' have any advice about where you go now, nor can I recommend a RE since I live out of state.

I will say though, that when we started going, I was adament about only dealing with a female. I think most practices work that way. They rotate doctors during morning monitoring hours, so whichever doctor is working that morning is the doctor you will see. it's just the way it is, and I got over my "female only thing" pretty quickly. Where I went, morning monitoring was done during specific times in the morning, and was first come first serve. I always made sure to be there when they opened so I didn't have that long of a wait. Throughout my time at my RE practice, I think I saw every doctor with the exception of 2 or 3 within that practice. Also my main point of contact was the nurse that was assigned to me. I really only saw my Dr. for follow up consults. I really didn't mind it though. I knew he was the one in charge of my protocol and calling the shots on my behalf.

Sorry you didn't have a good experience with RSofNY. I used them too and my experience was completely different.........I actually really like them and was pregnant in 4 months. I went to the Stony Brook office and saw Dr. San Roman. I don't really know of anyone else, you might want to post on the Infertility board. All of those girls use RE's and ones all over the island and even the city too. They probably could recommend someone to you. Also try a "search" for RE recommendations in the Infertility board as well. Lots of luck to you both........hope you find someone better!!
