Help me figure out my cycle!
I posted last month that I thought i was preg and after many negative tests i finally got my period on day 33 of my cycle! I have NEVER had a cycle this long...
I have been off the pill since July - had 1 normal 28 day cycle and then my 33 day cycle. While on the pill I was about 26-28 days...
My DS is also an Ortho baby (got preg while on the pill) so i thought my body would bounce back quickly - hence the many tests last month, really thought we were preg!
I have been using fertility friend to track my cycle but I am not temping or using OPK's yet...
My last period was 9/2 and ended 9/5 - is it too late to start OPK's and how do they work? We BD'd last night but I know it is too early. I dont think DH can take it every other night for 2 wks straight - ha ha ha!
Please help - i am really lost with my cycle...

No its not too late, youre only on CD7. Most women start using them around cd10.
I suggest the clearblue easy digital. Theyre more expensive then the regular kinds but theyre easier to read.

It's definitely not too late to start OPKs. Start on CD 10 (10 days after AF starts) and you should be fine!
BD one you get the +OPK, then the following 2-3 nights!

i agree with the PPs. go out and buy some OPKs today!!! trust me, you will save yourself a headache when you are in the 2WW and wondering if and when AF is coming.

i agree with the girls..
you can start the OPK on CD10..thats the norm.. so get crackin!!

I don't have any advice on OPKs, but the length of your cycle while on the pill is no indication of what your cycle will be like off the pill. The pill is supposed to regulate your cycle. When you come off the pill, it can take a while for your cycle to become regular. You may have a 28-30 day cycle one month and a 40+ day cycle the next month. That's why it's good to figure out exactly when you're ovulating. Good luck!
