April 09 Mommies....when are you announcing?

First time posting on here!!! I am in my 11th week and due on April 13th, 2009. Had a great sonogram yesterday and all looked well. Miscarried last Jan so was a little nervous, but its going very well.

Wondering when everyone is telling family and work? My immediate family and friends know, but cant wait to spread the word!

This is a good question. I was wondering the same thing. I am twelve weeks tommorrow and I am itching to tell people at work(my boss and two co workers know). I am debating between telling them next week or waiting two more weeks.

We went through IVF so most of our close friends and family knew the day we were getting our blood test back. They all knew a few minutes after we knew. I've told other people little by little. I'm pretty nauseous so I told my boss last week so he understood why I was late for a meeting. I've seen the heartbeat twice and although I don't want to be over confidant I feel pretty good about where I am right now!

was thinking of telling people on wed, which would be day one of my 12th week...have a belly going on and tired of trying to hide it at work. Two people know, but would rather be able to just "be" at work and not stress about hiding it. Guess the "12 week" mark is still looming over me as the time to tell everyone. Seeing the heartbeat and good sono was a confidence booster. Its hard after a miscarriage.

I told my family week 7 and everyone else at week 9. Since this is my second child, it's hard to hide the belly. With my first child, I also told my family at 7 week but I told everyone else at 12 weeks.

I told at week 9 after my 1st sono and Dr. appt.
I'm keeping it quiet @ work until about 16 weeks if I can get away w/ it -

I'm just over 12 weeks now & we've pretty much told everyone. Our families all know as do most friends. I announced at work in the past couple of days. I decided to go with it since we've heard & seen the heartbeat, had a sono with great results, & we're over 12 weeks .

I told everyone already. Im 8 weeks. I get to excited to hold it in. But its your decision.

I am 11 weeks due April 11.
We told everyone after 2nd sono at 9.5 weeks when everything went good at the doc.

We announced at 8 weeks because we knew our friends would figure it out at a wedding. We told our families in the afternoon and before dinner was served at the wedding our friends called us on it.

Im so conflicted- we just saw the heartbeat -im 8 weeks and i know my mil wants to tell her friends. I'm thinking of waiting til week 10---- but im not sure if i should wait longer- its so hard to wait!!!
