Can someone Please Help with Beta Results?

Hello! I did my beta test at 6 weeks pregnant and my number was 8,000 and two days later it is 10,000. Does that seem right? Is it supposed to double and be more then that?

Thanks for all of your help. I am nervous considering I had a miscarriage before this pregnancy.

8,000 seems like a nice big number. I'm not sure if after a certain time it just goes up instead of doubling...I would ask ur Dr.

Long story short. I went to the OBGYN and took a pregnancy test in the office and it came back negative, another one, negative. I convinced the dr. to do a sonogram and he did and saw a sac. He said his office tests were probably faulty.

Before I left, I did another office test and it came back positive. The Dr. said to do the beta test just to be sure so that is what I did. I am just nervous that the number is not doubling because I hear so much about it doubling in the beginning.

I had my family dr get my blood results becuase my obgyn is closed for the weekend.

Also, I am know exactly when I ovulated so I was definitely 6 1/2 weeks pregnant when I did my bloodwork.

It doesn't always double especially when the numbers are so high. It went up a considerable amount so I would try not to worry so much. My numbers were much lower at that point and everything worked out.
