Help!!! Potty Training

Ok girls, share your stories, give me some suggestions, etc....

My daughter is 2 1/2 and she has been going peepee on the potty and she gets her stickers but what do you do, put pull ups or just underwear, she is definately not 100% maybe not even 50-60% but its the beginning, i was wondering how long it would take and what to do otherwise

thanks

We went right to underware. Took a weekend, stayed in and I figured if it was a failure I would wait another month. By the end of the weekend they were good at it. Probably 75%. We knew that pullups would just delay it, but we would put them in pullups for naps and over night. Now one is completely out of diapers and one wears pull ups to bed but 75% of the time he wakes up dry.

Good Luck!

Re: Help!!! Potty Training

DD is just starting to potty train too - she will be 2.5 in Dec. She is really getting it - goes on potty4 or 5 times a day. I dont notice a difference in her behavior with a diaper or pull up on so Im thinking I may just have to go right to undies, expect a few messes and keep my fingers crossed. I have all of the same questions you do though so Im hoping for some more input and others experiences!Chat Icon

I agree with putting her in undies, it makes things a lot easier in the end.

Try to really try at it for a sold 2 or 3 days, there will be accidents, but she will eventually get it.
