How do you find the will to loose weight?
Since I stopped nursing DD 4 months again I gained 15lbs. I know it doesn't seem like much but mentally I am comfortable here at this weight. I have always been 130lbs and was back to that weight after DD. I feel most confident and think I look the best at that weight.
How do go about getting motivated? My other problem is that I don't really durning the day. I hate making myself something and eating it. I am a SAHM so I am always making something to eat for the kids and it is always a different thing for each of them. It seems like a chore to have to make something for me. How do I let go of that train of thought and start eating more?

I am not a mom so I can't really relate there...I am sure some of the moms on here can offer you better advice. I know it's probably super hard to get motivated when you children to think about and take care of all day long
All I can say is that you are always putting everyone else first but you deserve it just as much. You deserve to be healthy, happy and comfortable.
Maybe it would be easier to make some go-to meals on the weekends or when DH is around so that you have things on hand when it comes time to eat and feed the children? How about taking them out to the park or going on long walks with them?
Once you get started and into a routine I am sure it will get better.

Re: How do you find the will to loose weight?
Motivation is the key factor and I think you have to constantly remind yourself of why you want to lose weight. Unfortunately, when you first decide to lose weight it takes a lot of thought and concentration to break old habits. I think it's important to eat every 3 - 4 hours - it speeds up your metabolism. Try things that you can just grab and go, not make. Such as if you don't really have time to eat during the day - have some fruit, piece of cheese, yogurt, granola bar, etc. Or make something ahead of time like salads with all the veggies and stuff chopped so when your kids eat, you just throw it all together on a plate and eat with them. As long as it's healthy choices, you can actually eat a lot and still lose weight once you get your metabolism going. Sorry if I rambled...hope this helps!

I'm seriously overweight--so right now my motivation is not just aesthetic -- wanting to look great in a hot dress or skirt....but its also for my health. i realize now that if i want to ever have a baby....or just continue living as long healthy life with my DH for many years to come, i have to take some weight off and start exercising and eating right
so my motivation has been just to live!

Same here. I am trying to get started. Cutting back on portions and exercising. I am so scared I am going to end up dead if I do not do something.

For me, it's all a matter of getting started. Once I start to eat better and just start exercising I feel so much better about myself and it makes me feel more confident which in turn gives me the motivation to keep going. Just get started!!!!!! If you break the 2 week hurdle and don't give up you'll definitely start feeling better about yourself!!!
