Unemployment for Dummies
Can anyone break-down unemployment for me? In terms of collecting/payment/etc?
Situation: Lay-Off due to lack of work
Company: Privately-held, approximately 10 employees
I just viewed the website through NYS, and it looks too easy....

it really is that easy
you just answer the questions on line- some times you have to call
and 2 or 3 weeks later- you start getting money
the max is $405 - I would think you would qualify for that
and sometimes you have to go to a meeting so they can see you are looking for work
