I just try and buy things that will make meals for the week. Then we figure out each day what we will have.

Yes I do, this way I have everything I need when I want to make something. I figure out how many meals we need for that week and plan that many.

yes!! i have to!!! if i dont have a plan, then once i get home, i am staring into the cubards trying to figure out what to whip up.
i have to have some idea of what we will be eating each night. it works out much better that way,
when i have a game plan, i'll start dinner as soon as i get home from work. if not, we prob. wont eat till about 830/9pm
i dont plan the sides ahead of time...

yes...or else I come home with a mess of nothing and have to go back to the store all week long.
I usually focus on 3 meals, then that's leftovers and one night where its pizza or Leo bringing home something from work
