What do you like getting from your students for the Holiday's?
My son is in preschool and has a teacher and an assistant.
I was thinking about getting his teacher this

i've gotten personalized stationary before and LOVED it. i use it still for all of my notes.
gift cards are always wonderful--dunkin donuts, target (my personal fave), book store, etc. i would get the assistant a gift card since (i assume) she probably doesn't make a whole lot of money.

well wheer i work we dont get ANYTING but i know people who do get things and they say the best thing is a gift card to border, barnes and nobles or even an american express one or visa.

I always love gift cards- like Barnes & Noble, iTunes (I don't get enough of iTunes but I get TONS of B&N).
Would you believe I'm STILL waiting on a Teacher Christmas ornament?  I'm in my third year and that's the one thing I've been dying for. Everyone tells me I should be glad...I could have a tree full of them!

I will be completely and totally honest--I think the stationary is a great idea, but I think you're better off going with a gift card for the assistant, even if it's not very much. I get SO many "trinkets" that I never use for the holidays, and the 2nd one is pretty much just like the stuff I get that usually gets stuffed in the closet because I feel guilty about just throwing it away.
I hope I'm not being too harsh--just wanted to be honest. The best thing I got as an assistant was a pair of those VIP movie tickets that get you into a movie and get you a popcorn, too.

i dont really get anything either lol...last year i think i got a candle that was shaped like an orange, and the year before one of my kids got me shot glasses LOL

I never expect a gift...but the best ones are gift cards or gift certificates
I never treat myself to anything and usually spend $ on my class. When I get "things" I usually don;t keep them because I don't like cutter
