It's a 30 day program where you follow her diet and exercise plan. It's somewhat personalized to what kind of "oxidizer" you are (she has a quiz in the book).
It's for people who have less than 20 lbs to lose and she says she guarentees you will be in the best shape of your life if you follow this strictly for 30 days!

I am not starting till Dec 1st. I plan on doing this to the T and I need time to thoroughly plan out all my menus etc. Here is what she wrote in the introduction:
"Are you struggling with those last stubborn pounds that won't come off no matter what? Are you gearing up for an event-wedding, school reunion, beach vacation - where you need to knock them dead? Are you looking to unleash the badass you know lies dormant within and just get ripped?
If you answered yes to one or more of the abo ve questions, then hell yes baby, this book's for you. All you need to begin is:
-A moderate to decent level of fitness -A strong, go all-the-way committment to your goals -20 or fewer pounds to shed"
I took the test and it seems I"m a balanced oxidizer (so I need 40% carbs, 30% proteins, 30% fats) and she gives plenty of suggestions for things to eat. I eat most of these things already! You just need to stick within her suggested calorie budget and do the exercise schedule she provides. Looks pretty intense!

Okay I am willing to wait till Jan 1st, does that help? Food program is really not bad at all (if you already eat balanced and healthy). For me it is not too far off from my normal meals. You just have to be sure to get the correct percentage and be within your daily calorie limit. That's why I need time to sit down and plan out every detail before I begin.

Okay just a heads up because of the holidays and such - she says no alcohol for 30 days and that would mean you would have to stick to your diet throughout December! Unless we start before Thanksgiving....hmmm......

I haven't done it but was reading about just before I got pregnant. I really want to do it after the baby is born this Spring. Don't be nervous...you can do anything!

I did (obviously). I calculated it to be about 1500 calories...but I am confused...isn't that to maintain? I do still want to lose weight so I am wondering if I should cut a couple hundred more?

I think that we have to eat the exact # of calories = to our BMR
That's what I got from page 10.
