Photoshop Question

Understand I've been searching and searching on these boards and others and I can't find the help I need.

I figure it's pretty easy, but I don't even know how to phrase the question to look for the appropriate answer.

Lots of people on here do it...

I want to take a regular digital color photograph...Make it black and white...But keep some color...

I have Elements 6.

Please help.
