Am I going to need Preemie clothes?
We have a lot of stuff in newborn, but is there a good chance they will need preemie sizes? I want to make sure we have what we need all ready before they arrive.

I would say stick with newborn. They grow out of it so fast and the newborn stuff is really small.

I think I have 2-4 outfits I got as gifts that I kept. Can't hurt-they are nothing fancy

I had 4 premie outifts and needed them, but one of my boys was 3 lbs 10 ozs and I had them at 35 weeks. This is not a normal size for a 35 weeker. We would have been fine with newborn if we didn't have them, the premies fit good though. I would maybe buy a few and leave the tags on and keep the recipts and once they are over 5 lbs, I would return them.

I had to go out and get premie clothing because nothing fit my boys. I had them at 36 weeks though. My advice is buy a premie outfit for the take home outfit and then if you have the babies earlier then 38 weeks have someone go out and get some premie clothes for you. The stores usually only have a rack of them and all you will need is 5-6 outfits. They lasted about 4 weeks for me and then I shipped them off to a friend who had a premie boy a few months after I did.

I had to go out at buy them also.. I had only two which they came home in... (I had them at 35 weeks) they are 6 weeks old and my DD is still wearing them but will switch any day to NB.

I had to go out and get a few outfits too. My boys were born @ 35 weeks weighing 5.4 and 5.11. I went to BRU and bought maybe 4 each on the sales rack. Now I will donate them either to my friend who is having twins (if she needs) or the nicu at my hospital.
