D&C bleeding and cramping after

It is three days since my D&C and I am still bleeding. Almost like the second day of a period, still have cramps. Is this normal? Did anyone have this? I am worried.

Yes very normal.

I had a d&c on a Fri and bled ALITTLE that day. Then that Tues and Wed i bled like MAD!! A week and half later, i bled again. Its very annoying and unpredictable but all very normal

So sorry you have to go thru this. It truly suxx!

First, I am so sorry for your loss . I just had a D&C a few days ago myself. I have some bleeding and cramping, although the cramping has subsided a bit. I was told by my OB that the bleeding and cramping afterward was totally normal. Do you have an appt with your doc scheduled for 2 weeks from now? That's what I was told to do. Then I get the lab results in about 6 weeks.

I'm sorry for your loss.
I can't remember exactly, but yes...I definitely bled for a week or so after my D&C. Sort of like a light period.

I'm so sorry.

I had a D&C in August and bled for a little more than 3 WEEKS after. I thought it would never stop. Some days were very light, some heavier. It takes a little while.

My Dr said about 3-5 days of bleeding and crampy. I didnt really have any bleeding past the first day but had bad cramps till about 5 days after.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss, as well. It sounds like we had the same type of week. I had my D&C on Thursday. Yes, I was told a week to ten days to schedule a follow up and I have that scheduled for the end of the week. Hoping you feel better soon too.

i had the usual AF bleeding & a little extra cramping- i was done within 6 days

i'm so sorry for ur loss :(

i bled for a few days, like a short period, after each of my d&cs, my doctor gave me something mild to contract my uterus, to expel any remaining blood, i didn't have cramps because i was on motrin round the clock

ur insides are still raw, get lots of rest, eat well, and watch some good movies in bed, cocoon urself for a week or two, it really helped me

Like the other posters said, it's completely normal after a d&c, so please try not to worry too much - you're still healing physically. I did the same thing, so I completely agree with "resigned" about "cocooning it" for a while All my best to you

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I had a little bleeding and cramping for a few days after my D&C but the following week it seemed to increase and I had more cramping.

From what I've heard it's totally normal.
