Annoyed and just Need To vent
So my DH calls me this afternoon to tell me our Front desk admin did not show up. She called and said she over slept and was running late. Its almost 5pm and she is still not here and we have called her cell phone several times. She is not home either.
I am hoping and praying that nothing bad happened.
I am just dreading hiring someone else, its so hard to find reliable people, she is our 5th Receptionist this year. No one stays. Its very upsetting.
We just hired her 3 months ago and she got a raise on friday, and she does this on a monday. It just doesnt sit right with me.
ok vent over...i am just hoping she calls or something soon

sounds fishy to me, what time was she supposed to start work?
i think its time to find a new employee--i know tons of awesome responsible girls on here looking for work :)

She starts work at 9am til 5pm
Its so frustrating to me that i am going to have to work the front and hire someone and do interviews at the same time.
I just wish if she quits she gives her 2 weeks but i doubt it
We have the worst luck

That is very frustrating and irresponsible on her part (as long as nothing bad happened) we have that sometimes here to...people always seem to run late often or say they will be in later and then never come in.
What kind of business is it?

But that doesn't sound right- if she wasn't planning on coming in why would she even call?

Completely unacceptable! I would try to find out what happened, but seriously consider finding someone else. It was pretty ballsy of her not to show after getting a raise Friday.

Its almost 10 and still no word, we have called her house numerous times and she is not home.
We just want to hear from her so we can know what the story is. The front desk is such an important position in a company.

yes she came in today, and said she is so sorry, she never meant to not show up, she lost her phone etc.
I am hoping and praying this does not happen again.
