Dearest DH...
I know you are stressed with work, and I really do feel for you, but I feel the same stress plus the stress of trying to run a household on no $. God forbid you should look at a bill. I am also a new mom who is considerate enough to sleep downstairs so when I am up with the baby at nights, you can get some sleep to deal with all the stress at work. So far you have put off decorating with me for the past 2 weekends , so I guess I will do that myself this week, too. I have also been doing the whopping 2 chores that you have around the house for the past week. So when I woke you up this morning to put the garbabge cans out (which I filled the cans and took the garbage bags out all week) and you decided to diddle dabble around and make yourself I cup of coffee from the pot I put on a 6am, while I was feeding and consoling your crying son that kept me up ALL night, so that you MISSED to frigginn garbage truck, please don't roll your eyes at me and ask me what the big deal is! If it wasn't a big deal, I wouldn't have woke you up to do it!!!!!
PS - I didn't even get to enjoy the cup of coffee I made because yesterday when you went to the store (your chice b/c god forbid you should watch your son for 5 mins) you bought the ONe kind of half and half that I SPECIFICALLY told you I hate! Thanks for being SOOOOO helpful
Signed, Your exhausted wife who needs some gosh darn help!!
PS - the fulltime job I also work sucks big time too, just so you know becuase you would never bother to ask

Re: Dearest DH...
Men they just dont get it. They are like babies themselves. They can never do what us moms do.

Re: Dearest DH...
Men just don't get it. My husband is the same way. I work 31 hours a week. When I am home with the baby, he tells me I have the luxury of sitting around with her all day. He doesn't seem to get it that it takes work to care for an infant. Plus, I clean and cook and all the other chores.

Re: Dearest DH...
I could have posted this almost 2 years ago when I brought DS home. DH Finally got the hint. I became a nagger! Yes. Annoying, but, oh well! Now with #2 on the way next year, I'll be even more on top of things! I hope your DH "Wakes Up" soon.

It true ... having a baby DOESNT change a mans life NEARLY as much! They will never understand! Youre not alone!

Re: Dearest DH...
Oh boy, I can relate! It really stinks. I have finally gotten DH trained to do bath every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And that took 5 and a half months!
