My parents didn't plan to have me or my three sisters. But they also didn't do anything to not get pg. So although we were all unplanned, we weren't a total surprise. My mom always said after me she decided she was going to be more careful...4 kids in 6 years will do that to a woman.

being that my mom was 19 and dad was 20 and my parents got married 10 days before I was born I would say I was a suprised
My three brothers were suprises as well oh wait no one was planned

I was told that I was planned, but I came a little earlier than I was supposed to. They had been married two years already and had just moved into a new house...
Same here. They had been in the new house 5 months and married two years. My Mom thought it was going to take some time - she was 36 - but low and behold -the first time worked. It took her a while to realize that her symptoms were pregnancy symptoms. I think she was so surpised she got pregnant so quickly. I was "on board" the vacation they had booked for trying- four months later.

My Dad said, no babies until we get a house!
My parents are Irish Roman Catholic and were married 6 years before having me... that's like 50 years for non-Irish Roman Catholics My mom was 30 when I was born in 1970, that was considered OLD back then to be having your first.

I was planned. My father had had an operation and was told to have "plenty of bed rest." His joke is the doctor never said it had to be alone.

We were both perfectly planned, being as my parents only did "it" the two times!
I was planned. BUT... My brother is 8 1/2 years older then me. Mom had some miscarrages in between.

Well, my parents got married in '72.
They planned on starting a family after a few years of marriage
my sister was born in 74
i was born in 75
my brother born in 77
next brother in 78
then my mother had her tubes tied
so, i don't think any of us were planned, but we weren't exactly mistakes!

I was long awaited! My parents tried for 5 years - doctors kept telling them everything was okay and you will get pregnant.
Well, 5 frustrating years later - I was born - my sis was born 13 months later and my brother one year after that.....all without any problem.

Well, I believe I was planned, but it came as a suprise for my father. My parents were only 19 when they had me...it was a really good example of what not to do...for so many reasons.

My parents decided to start trying not knowing how long it would take and my mom got pregnant that night. Same thing happened with my sister! She said she knew right away cuz she had heartburn the next morning

I just found out recently that I was a surprise! My older sister is only 18 months older and apprently there weren't planning on having us so close together.
My younger by 9 years sister came as a total shock.
