islip animal shelter
I went there yesterday and looked at all the dogs. I fell in love with a blue/grey pit bull and a jack russell terrier( I know 2 complete opposites).
My coat is downstairs and must smell like all the dogs. My dog is convinced there is another dog in the house.
Has been smelling the coat, searching the whole downstairs. He's so excited looking around!

If you are a high energy person and are willing to give her a ton of exercise, please go back to adopt- she is a super dog!

i have both a pitbull and a jack russell and they're both amazing dogs. jacks are very high strung but as long as you give them enough energy, it'll be great! i say whatever you do, bring your pup along with you to meet them!! my jack was VERRRRY particular who he wanted to share a home with. he didn't like 2 dogs we really liked but loved our pit.
