does anyone know if Huntington Hospital allows bundle me in car seat?
I read that some hospitals don't allow use of bundle me in car seats. Anyone have this experience in Huntington Hospital? I'm expecting any day and it's freezing out!! Want to use it if I can...

I never heard of this. Either way bring it, and if they tell you not to use it, remove it. easy as that

Why not bring some warm blankets instead of the bundle me this way you won't have a problem when you leave the hospital and if you still want to use the bundle me you can put it in when you get home.

Why is this. I never heard of it. It doesn't interfere with the carseat itself?

Not true, unless policy has changed since last December
I used the bundle me last year when leaving St. Catherines, the nurse tugged on the car seat harness but never said anything about the bundle me.

I'm sure KateDevine can tell you better b.c her husband is certified in car seat inspection - but I know at a mingling moms luncheon one of the inspectors that a lot of the moms use on Parenting came and spoke about car seat safety. He said that he doesn't recommend the bundle me (I didn't know at the time b.c I used one for DD all last year) but that apparently it voids the warranty of the seat b.c nothing should go between the baby and the seat and that technically they aren't very safe. I guess it is like other items on the market - they make car seat savers which they tell you not to use either.
