Mexico:
Who has been to Mexico?
What All-Inclusive Hotel can you recommend?
Our top priorities: GREAT beach and pools Nice, updated rooms Good food Clean & Good Service
Not Important: Nightlife, spa, tours, etc. doesn't matter on this trip.
Looking to plan for late 09 or possibly 2010.
Thanks!!!

Re: Mexico:
I personally haven't been, but Dreams Resort in Puerto Vallarta is supposed to be really nice! There's a review from an 08 bride on LIW. DH and I are looking into going towards the end of this year.

Re: Mexico:
DH and I went to The Royal in Playa del Carmen for our HM. Amazing! The place is gorgeous, theres so much to do, its adults only etc. I highly recommend it.
we're actually doing a big trip next year with all friends and family. I miss it a lot!
Theres a lot to do within the hotel. Theres live entertainment, GREAT retaurants. It's located right near "5th Avenue" which is all shopping, souvenior shops, restaurants, designer stores etc.

Re: Mexico:
We went to El Dorado Seaside Suites (Riviera Maya) for our honeymoon.
the pools are nice, the beach is beautiful- but the water is VERY calm (no waves) perfect for snorkeling. There are 5 different restaurants.
All Inclusive.
Adults only- very quiet.
I would reccommend it.

Re: Mexico:
We went to the Royal Hideaway in Playa del Carmen. We loved it! Its all inclusive, adults only. The beach was kind of small but most of the beaches in Playa are not great due to hurricanes. There were 2 main pools (one infiniti) and a bunch of smaller ones and jacuzzis. Service was great, food was good. It is pretty small, which really liked because it felt much more personal. There is a bar/lounge at the resort, which was great for after dinner but not so crazy that there was noise throughout the resort. I would go back in a second!

Definitely Excellence if you're going with your husband.
BUT if you're going with your girlfriends, then Temptation.

The Royal in Cancun is gorgeous and their restaurants are great. I can also highly recommend the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Palace in Cabo San Lucas.
