Greenies deaths
Anderson Cooper had a story about Greenies last night. Apparantly, dozens of dogs have died from them. They do not digest well and if not chewed completely, they can cause life threatening blockages. The company was quick to point out that dozens is not a high number compared to the millions sold but it was enough for me to throw out all of the Greenies we have and to never buy them again.

I answered on the NFR board also but I threw my Greenies away months ago...I am not taking any chances.

A year ago this week, our dog almost died after an undigested greenie became lodged in his stomach. 
Thank Goodness we got him to the vet in time to have it surgically removed and he is as good as new. It is heartbreaking to hear these stories.
