I don't really have much advice except cheer up. I know it is frustrating, but you really haven't been trying THAT long. Your time will come!

Re: fustrated
If you are getting your AF every 2 or 3 months, then you may not be ovulating.
My advice to you would be to start temping. See what type of pattern your charts show, if they indicate annovulatory cycles...then your doctor needs to assess why this is happening.
I am not sure how old you are but if you are 35 or older...after 6 months of ttc, you can make an appointment with a reproductive endocrinologist.
I would ask your doctor to run a series of blood tests. Testing for thyroid issues, insulin resistance, prolactin levels, etc. All these are reasons why a person may not ovulate, or ovulate regularly.

Re: fustrated
I understand exactly how you feel. We've been trying for over 6 months with no luck. Every month that I don't get pg is devastating, not only for me but dh as well. And the fact that we're always hearing about others getting pg doesn't help.
One thing I really try to do is not obsess about ttc. I know it's hard but it just adds stress, which is the last thing we need. I would really sit and talk to your hubby about how/why you're feeling this way. He's a big part in the ttc process and he really needs to be a support. I'm so lucky in that my dh cries along with me when we don't get pg. Just know that these boards are a great source of support

Re: fustrated
My first suggestion is to switch doctors. It isn't normal to get your period every 2 or 3 months. Are you taking your temps or using OPKs to make sure you are ovulating?
