Eggs Benedict?
I'm going out to brunch with my extended family (we're telling them at brunch!  ) and my all-time favorite brunch food is Eggs Benedict. I know that the eggs aren't cooked all the way through - is it safe to eat?
If so - watch out Snapper Inn!!!!

It's the hollandaise sauce...i think it's made with raw eggs so that's why.

I absolutely LOVE eggs benedict- and when I was pg, I would ask for the eggs to be cooked well done.

I've heard about the sauce too. I probably would have eaten them that day we had brunch but I was just getting over that stomach virus. Although I personally was extra cautious in my first tri of things like that. It's a personal choice! Enjoy brunch!

When I make it the sauce is all the way cooked. I wouldn't worry about it.

I think most people eat it anyway - but the reason behind why you might choose not to is that the hollandaise sauce is made with raw eggs that get tempered (not cooked) and the eggs in the dish itself are usually runny - you can ask for them to make the eggs more cooked but the sauce if made fresh might have raw eggs in it - so you would have to ask. But as I said most people I think just eat it anyway.
