If I liked the twilight series...
what should I read next? I'm so depressed that I'm almost done with breaking dawn and that there's no more books after that  I'm not getting the sookie stackhouse box set until chrismakah so that's out. Any recommendations? It doesn't have to be vampire related

I had to read the entire twilight series again b/c I couldnt get into any other books. Now I am also reading the sookie stackhouse series and loving it.

love the southern vampire books! If you go on charlaine harris' website there is also the first chapter of her 9th installment. It will be out may.... so far away!

There are 8 right now and a 9th is due in may the names of the books are
#1 Dead until dark
#2 Living dead in dallas (the writers fav)
#3 Club dead
#4 Dead to the world (my fav)
#5 DEad as a doornail
#6 Definetely dead
#7 All together dead
#8 From dead to worse (it was just ok)
and May 09 Dead and Gone! sneak peek the first chapter on the author's website it starts off very exciting!

If you liked the Twilight series and don't mind reading on the computer...you can go to Stephenie Meyers website and read Midnight Sun...it's only the first 200 or so pages of it, but it's great. It's Twilight from Edward's percpective. She was writing it to be published but then it got leaked. The whole explaination is on her website. In fact it looks like she may be finishing it and publishing it anyway. But I really enjoyed it. You can't print it, which stinks but you can copy it to your desk top and read when you can.

I'm sure the OP moved on by now, but for those like me who are dealing with Twilight withdrawal now, I have read to take a look at the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, Sunshine by Robin McKinley, Anne Rice, and of course the Southern Vampire Series. Any thoughts?
