How long did your doctor advise you to wait before TTC and...
did you/do you plan to heed her advice?
I had my follow-up yesterday and I asked her how long... She replied after two periods, but she is a very cautious doctor (just so you know, I just had my NINTH blood test in less than a month!). I think I'm going to go for it after one cycle...is that bad?

My Dr. said to wait 2 or 3 cycles...but I read somewhere that they ask you to wait at least one cycle so they be able to tell when is your date etc...

My Dr. said it can take 2-6 weeks to get my period after the D&C. She wants me to wait till one more period after that to start trying. She said its to give the lining time to build up again so that when I do get pregnant, it has some good lining to implant into. I plan on following her advise. I don't want to risk the chance of going through this again.

My RE said to wait one cycle. I am already using my CBEFM and will try as soon as I ovulate. The chance that I will get pg without ivf is somewhere between slim and none anyway.

my doctor said 1 cycle (well she said 6 weeks, but that's of course assuming I actually get AF within 6 weeks!)....I think we'll wind up waiting 2-3 cycles moreso b/c I'm trying to get a job and if all goes well and I find one soon I'd like to be there for a few months prior to being pregnant.

My doctor said nothing about waiting & we didn't. I had a m/c prior to 6 weeks & it happened naturally, so that may make a difference.

My doctor said that we could start TTC right away but to wait a full cycle to track ovulation.

My DR said wait until I get a period.
After my 1st mc, the first cycle was too irregular to track, so I waited until the next one to TTC. If I need to, that's what I'll do again this time.

My doc said 1 cycle after my first m/c. I got pregnant the 2nd cycle, but m/c again. Then she said wait 2 cycles, I didn't and had a chemical right away.
I took two months off to let my body and soul rest, and conceived again the third month.

My doctor gave me the go ahead right away as I m/c naturally (and early)...so we started immediately.

my first loss.. the doc told me to wait 3 cycles..  i didnt listen.. but didnt matter anyway.. it took us 7 months to get PG again..
then after the 2nd loss.. the doc said to try after my 1st cycle..
i would just at least wait for your cycle to come back if you dont want to wait!

My OB said 2 cyles, my RE said that 1 cycle is sufficient-I would wait at least 1 cycle and good luck!

My dr said to wait 1 cycle. We didn't even do that, we started up again after I stopped bleeding (sorry, TMI). We had no idea what was going on with my cycle then though so I don't count it as actively TTC.
