My pup is digging up my yard!
I have a 10-month old Bernese Mountain Dog who LOVES to dig. We tried putting her poop in one of the holes, but she just finds other spots to dig. She's not digging near the fence, so I don't think it's that she's trying to get out of the yard. I've had people suggest putting chicken wire in the hole, but I think that will just result in her digging somewhere else (and I'm afraid it might hurt her). Does anyone have any suggestions?

I heard putting hot sauce or bitter apple in the hole will make them stop because they don't like the smell, but I haven't tried it. And I imagine you'd have to keep doing it, or the scent/taste would be washed away since it's outdoors...
