Hi!!
Does anyone know where I can dispose old needles. I know that my fertility clinic and OB will not take them...
Thx!

Re: Disposal of needles..
do you have the sharps container? If not, you can pick one up inexpensively at a local pharmacy - CVS, Rite Aid, etc. Go on the website for your Towns disposal rules (Town of Islip, Brookhaven, etc.) and there should be something on there on how to put in it the garbage. I can put the sharps container in the recycle and it gets sorted.

Re: Disposal of needles..
Surprised your RE doesn't take them! What the H are you supposed to do with them then? As if you have nothing else to worry about during this IF process.
I kept them in a coffee take out cup and brought them in to the phlebotomy dept. They had no problems taking them.

Jo - Do you have a Shrafts pharmacy near you? They will take them. There is one in Livingston on Northfield Avenue that I've used in the past.
