hi there.......update #2 (good news this time!)

sorry I've been MIA lately, just so much going on in the past few weeks.

First off, its now 6 weeks since I started miscarrying, and STILL NO AF!!!

One of my last updates on here was about the job situation, I was offered a part time job that paid really well per hour.......but guess what, the company got very sketchy with me and said it would only be 12 hours per week, when initial discussions were for 24 hours per week!! so I'd rather make a little bit more $$ than just working 12 hours per week. Now I'm hoping/waiting to be offered my old boss' job at MLB...I interviewed for it last week, and everything seemed to go really well. It just stinks I'll be going back to working full time, but that's definitely better than not working at all!

And more sad news for me, my 15 year old cat Tappy is dying!!! She hurt her paw a few months back and really hasn't been the same since she had surgery for it. So today she collapsed and she hasn't been eating or drinking anything. She's so weak, I think she'll pass in the next 24 hours.....I've had her since I'm 14, I'm so upset. She was a tough cat too, she scared off a raccoon once that was chasing her in my old backyard. I know she's 15 so I should be happy she lived so long, but it just makes it that much harder to say goodbye

My only good news is that I just booked a trip to Vegas with my bff for a long weekend on March 5th! I sooooo need to get away for a few days!!!

hope everyone else is doing ok, I haven't been keeping up with the boards at all, but I hope there's been some recent BFP's!!!! to everyone!

***update: we put the cat to sleep tonight......I just couldn't watch her suffer anymore, so my sister & I brought her to the vet.....one of the worst things I've ever had to do thanks everyone for your hugs!

**Update #2: so at least I got some good news today to cheer me up!!! MLB called me about an hour ago, they made me an offer, and its for more $$$ than I expected!!! I have to decide by tomorrow, my old boss' last day is Friday and they'd like me to come in and train w/ him. CRAZY! but good crazy, I really need something to take my mind off of everything and this will be a challenging role, so I think I'll take it. thanks again to everyone for your words of encouragement

I guess there was a bunch of us taking a break. I was trying to catch up and did not see much of some people posting. I am sorry about your cat I pray that AF comes soon so you can get back in the game.

I know that many girls don't get AF for 6ish weeks after their m/c. Hopefully she's on her way soon for you...

I'm so sorry about your cat. I'm a huge animal lover and have had pets my whole life.. so I feel your pain

bump for my update.....thanks for everyone's prayers & hugs. they say things happen in 3's right? So I'll take it I should be done with bad news since I had the layoff, the miscarriage and losing my cat one after another. 2009 has GOT to get better from here!!

I'm so sorry for the loss of Tappy. It's never easy My cat died suddenly almost a year ago and I still cry for him.

You loved her (and I'm sure she loved you) and she knows that. In the end that's what matters.

Accounting....the position is Accounts Payable Manager. I've never managed anyone other than myself....I hope I do a good job!!
