Gerber Stage 2 Meat
How old was your child when you starting introducing stage 2 meats?

We tried it after he had almost all the stage 1 meals. Probably after about 6 weeks of starting stage 1. But he never liked the meat.

My ped had us do them at 5 months b/c DS was on the tiny side.
Skip the meats by themselves and do the dinners, the turkey and apples, or chicken and sweet potato ones are much less gross than the others

We started stage 2 between 6-7 months. The meats by themselves are gross....but Kaydyn loved the apples and chicken, chicken and sweet potatoes...etc.

We started meat at about 7 1/2 months.
I am not buying the meat dinners at all. I decided to puree some chicken, beef & turkey. I freeze it into ice cube trays. One cube is about 2 tbsp. I defrost 1 cube & mix with a jar of veggies or some veggies I puree. I MOSTLY use jarred stuff and the pureeing of the meat takes no time at all.

 we skipped it and just started giving her small small pieces of stuff we ate when she was old enough (we started her on food late!) - i couldnt' stand the look or smell of it so we skipped it!

9 months, but it is gross. I mixed it with his vegetables, otherwise he wouldn't eat it.
