Alarm Systems
Can you recommend your alarm system? Who do you use? What does it cover? And if you want, what is the cost? I've been seeing ads for so many companies but not sure which one to select.

Brinks, free installation, $30 a month. We have 2 keypads, 2 motion sensors, and 3 door sensors.

AB Locksmith...we had contacts prior so I don't know what the price would be if you have none...around $50 every 3 months, 3 keypads, no motion detectors (we have a cat...they are way too sensitive)

VMS Security. do a search on security systems on the home board here - there have been multiple posts on this topic - contact info is posted there. We went all out with motion and glass breaks, window and door contacts, fire monitoring, etc. Not cheap but worth it for peace of mind.

we used a local company that some of our friends have used...they are called always on security 516 559 7192.. theyre monthly fee is 30 dollars but we got so much more, 3 keypads, 4 motion sensors all of our windows and doors have sensors as well as fire and carbon monoxide detectors. they were great to work with too. good luck
