inexpensive shower locations in suffolk county
please help me plan a shower for my sister. im in suffolk county and am looking for some ideas/prices please.

We had our rehearsal dinner there.

we have anywhere between 40-50 people. price?
something not too pricey.
i've been looking around but everything seems like its around $35-40 a head.

What about The oar house in Patchogue? I know they have a private cottage in the back but I am not sure of the $ and how many people it can hold...also I went to a bridal shower @ Brickhouse Brewery in Patchogue...it was very nice there too..The Irish coffee pub is great too that someone else suggested...

I work at the holiday Inn on vets hwy in ronkonoma near the airport and we do alot of showers there. I had my bridal shower there and the head chef did a wonderful job. Ask for Donna Rizzo in sales and tell them Lisa from the Kitchen referred you.

The Riverview in Oakdale
The Old Street Pub in Smithtown
There is also a little tea place in Port Jefferson that is cute

I had both my Bridal Shower and Baby Shower at the Sea Haven Restaurant in Lindenhurst. I think it cost my mom $600 for 50 people. I have never organized an event, so I'm not sure if that is a good price.

thanks for the replies.
im trying to keep the entire shower at around $1,000.00
i sent some emails to these places this morning. do we know which ones will keep the price to be about 900 or so? (because i need favors, invites, etc.)

Def check out J & R's steak house. 13.99 per person for a sit down Lunch. Stony brook is the biggest location and you can fit up to 100 people. Here is a link to their website.Iam throwing my friends Bridal shower their and like you have a small budget. No one can beat their price.

I agree with Old Street Pub in Smithtown. I've been to a few showers there and had Marron's baptism party there. It was in the neighborhood of $20pp and the food was delicious!!

The room at sonomoa grill is nothing too fancy, it is private and it was roomy. i will send you some pics of my sisters bridal shower if you want

I agree. I have been to two showers here (the lake grove location) and they have been great.

Check out Papa Joe's in Commack. I am not sure how much my In laws paid but I just had my shower there yesterday. It was great and the food was delicious.
