IRA
I'd like to open an IRA but have no idea where to start. Should I shop around to different banks or are they all pretty much the same? Recommendations for your bank and any advice are greatly appreciated.

Re: IRA
I would look at no load mutual fund companies that have a nice line up of funds such as Fidelity, Vanguard or T. Rowe Price. A bank will most likely put you in a loaded fund or a CD.

Re: IRA
You may also want to talk to your tax advisor to see which type of IRA you want to open. There is Traditional and Roth IRA's and they each have different tax implications.
