Dog Parks?
We are looking to take our puppy to a dog park in Nassau or Western Suffolk.
Do they all require leisure passes? We don't have one nor can we get one since we don't have a lease, taxes, utilities, etc.
Any info. is appreciated!!!

usually you just bring your dog, i never heard of any passes. The one out in Huntington theres a $5 parking fee during the high times.

We just go strolling in Belmont Lake State Park. I haven't taken Petunia to an actual dog park where they run around together though

theres a dog park in blydenburg state park in smithtown off 347 they dont charge anything and eveyone can get it.. its really nice to they have 2 separate ares one for big dogs and one for little dogs

There's a dog park in Cedar Creek Park on Merrick Rd in Seaford (it might actually be Wantagh). You don't need a leisure pass to get it.
There's also one in Wantagh Park (not sure if that's the name of the park), and I believe you don't need a pass for that one either.

Actually you are supposed to have a Suffolk County Green Key for Blydenurgh but I think it's only for specific days/times. We were never asked for it *except* the first time we went so we had to buy one.

I just took our dogs here today. It was our 1st time. And they loved it.
They are both smaller dogs so we were in the smaller run. They were the only little ones there. But they loved running along the fence with the bigger dogs.
We will definitely go back.
We weren't asked for any Green Key info. Although I wanted to buy one, but the cabin was closed.
