glucose prescription question

my doc gave me a prescription for the glucose test and some bloodwork. stupid me left without even asking where i was supposed to get this done. do i call the doctor's office to make an appt? or am i supposed to go to a cvs to pick up the drink, lol?

My dr. told me to use Quest Labs. I think you can make appt's online or by phone.

wouldnt be cvs. sounds like its a prescription for the lab. They should have told you what lab to go to though

this depends on the office

my office does it IN office

They gave me the drink, i drink it 45 min prior to my next appointment and arrive 15 min early. Sit there for 15 min and then they take the blood.

Actually through neither of my pregnancies i had to go do ANY lab outside of my office. They did everything in house, EXCEPT the LVL 2 was done in a hospital

Mine was done in the dr.s office.
Your dr. gave you a prescription, so, sounds like maybe you go to a lab.
I'd call tomorrow and find out.
For me, I went to the Dr office, drank the drink at 6PM and they took my blood by 7:10PM.
Yes, I sat in the waiting room reading magazines for the hour.
