When did weekly visits start?

At my 20 week visit my doctor said he'd see me every 2 weeks unless he had a reason to push it up to every week. He did the internal exam and couldn't even feel the babies they were so high up.

At my 22 week visit, he just told me he wants to see me every week now because even though my cervix is still thick and closed, he can feel the babies now whereas he couldn't 2 weeks ago.

Of course that freaked me out a little, but does this just mean they have grown and take up more room? He told me not to worry and if he was really worried he would've told me to come back in 2 days. I asked him can they stay where they are for months... and he said YES.

I started going every week around the 32 week mark.

I remember them telling me that one of the risks with multiples is pre-term labor and they wanted to make sure that my cervix stayed closed.

I'm starting weekly visits at 35 weeks.

Wow, seems like I'm going way earlier than everyone else. However, I think my doctor just errs on the side of caution. He did tell me straight up at my first appointment that he starts internals at 20 weeks for twins. I see him again tomorrow for an update.

Update: today at my internal my dr told me things still look good so he's comfortable putting me back on every two weeks for the next month.
