So nervous
I am so very nervous. I had a miscarraige in September and I am just so scared. I am 6 weeks tomorrow and have not a single symptom. I don't have nausea, no peeing, no cramping, no pulling/stretching down there......
I remember the last time, I distinctly remember feeling pulling and stretching. This time I feel nothing at all. The only symptom at all is insomnia....b/c I am up all night nervous.
Over the weekend I had a sharp pain in my ovary area, but even that stopped. I pee on a stick every morning to make sure its still positive, but that is not very reassuring since I feel no symptoms.
Is this lack of any kind of symptoms normal? Supposedly, there is a lot of stuff going on down there if things are going right...the uterus is stretching, growing, fluids are building......wouldn't I feel something? Please be honest.

Re: So nervous
Actually there are alot of people who don't even know they are pregnant yet at that early on. I would try not to worry and make an appt. w/ your doctor if you didn't already. I know it is scary but try not to stress yourself out...

Re: So nervous
i had NO symptoms whatsoever. i doubted that i was even pregnant. now i'm 37 weeks and very much aware that something is living in me! don't worry---no symptoms means nothing....in fact, if you stay that way, it means you're very lucky!!!!!

Re: So nervous
my symptoms were: congestion (which is also VERY normal for me) and occasional cramps (nothing constant).
NOTHING MORE!!!!!!!!! It's totally norm and for the moment - you need to consider yourself LUCKY and not sad. TRUST ME - i know it's very hard to think that way - but when the symptoms come - they are NOT FUN!!!!!!!!!

Re: So nervous
I just started getting symptoms and I am 6 weeks too-some people don't get them until much later.
I think is is very normal to second guess everything this early. It is especially hard to trust your body after a MC

Re: So nervous
i didnt have anything until i hit the 7 week mark..except for maybe a little pain in my ovaries here and there.
then the heartburn kicked in, peeing, nausea..
give it time..and if not, consider yourself lucky.
not everyone has symptoms and they're perfectly fine.

Re: So nervous
Also remember that just because it is different from your last pg, it does not mean anything.
Every pregnancy is different. Even a second pregnancy for the same woman.
I too had a miscarriage, which made this pregnancy all that much more scary. Everytime I go to the doctor though, everything is looking good, so as time goes on I get more comfortable with the fact that this pregnancy is going to be ok.
I also try to keep in mind how high the number of miscarriages is, and how many women go on to have a completely normal pregnancy and baby the next time around.
Hopefully you can find a peace of mind, and just be thankful that you aren't sick

Re: So nervous
I had previous miscarriages, I also noticed that the pulling stretching I had with the first pregnancy I did not have this time at all.
I know it's nerve wracking, but try to remain positive.
Call your doctor explain you had a previous miscarriage and would like to come in for an early sono. If they wont give you a sono early, see if they will check your HCG numbers. That will make you feel better.
I know it's hard

Re: So nervous
try to remain positive (hard I know!) Every pregnancy is different
My first pregnancy I had every symptom in the book and miscarried.
My second pregnancy I had not one symptom until about 9 weeks when morning sickness reared it's ugly head

Re: So nervous
Oh I know how you feel, I wish I didnt and wish YOU didnt, but Try to stay calm.
SOmetime syour so convinced there are no symptoms , you dont even see them.
Let me tell you, Im PG with Twins, my previous Pg's have been HORRID , I had severe nausea and vommitting, tons of problems and am 9 weeks into this PG and have almost NO symptoms. I am ALWAYS thinking something is wrong, but the babies are healthy, my numbers are high. Its just weird, but normal.
So tell yourself that ok?

Re: So nervous
I'm 6 weeks also and besides some lightheadedness once in awhile I have no other symptoms. I'm not even tired. I was like this with my first pregnancy also so I just consider myself lucky.
