bad news
My lack of symptoms was so concerning to me....especially after my mc in September. I got a recommendation and hauled myself to a new OB/GYN today. He did a sono and saw an empty sac. Nothing in it. It appeared to be a 5 week pregnancy, not a 6 week one. He asked if my dates could be off....but I know they are not. I charted and calculated everything.
I know my dates were correct. To top it off, DH was travellign the following week after I O'd, so I know that it can't possibly be a week later than we thought.
He took blood to see where my HCG levels are but I am sure this is not good.
I don't think I can bare going through this again.

your dates could be correct, but your baby could be a late implanter.
do NOT give up hope until you get those numbers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

at about 4 or 5 weeks they just saw my lining thickened, no sac or anything yet, so please dont lose hope yet.....

Those could be off. Implantation can be off by a few days.

I agree, praying everything turns out well for you, but at this stage a couple of days can make a difference.

Like a pp said, my 5w sono showed only a sac too...You could have implanted late & that is why your dates are off....

I went to the doctor at 6 weeks for my morning sickness...it was empty. My doctor didn't say much, just let it go, so I didn't freak at that point. We went back at 8 weeks, there he/she was...little heartbeat and all. He said at my 8 week I was measuring 7weeks 3 days and that is why nothing was there at 6 weeks. I had a late bloomer.
Don't give up hope.

One week difference is not a bad thing. You O 24-36 hours AFTER a positive OPK, plus it could take several days to fertilize an egg, move down the tubes and implant.
Don't lose hope. Everything could still go right.
