Ativan

Does anyone have experience with it? I took Xanax and it did nothing for my panic disorder.. it just made me tired but I could still feel my heart exploding from my chest.. I wish I could find something that woks to control the panic I am feeling lately..

I took xnanx and ativan, both didn't help me. I have been on klonopin for years now. You can't take it at the start of a panic attack, you take it once a day to prevent them, more of maintenance medication. If I take it, no panic attacks, if I forget for a few days I may have a small one. My doctor paired it with cymbalta since it seems to work well w/ the klonopin since cymbalta is good for generalized anxiety disorder. Paired together they work great for me. I always had bad reactions to x and a, it seemed to make me more anxious and agitated.

I took Ativan years ago and I found it took that "edge" off back then..
