Summer Job-Education

Hi all.

I am a guidance counselor, wondering if anyone has any information about summer jobs for educators.

While it's not a lot of money, I am fairly certain that if I were in the education field, I would be a camp counselor in the summers. I did this in college and I would love to do it again. College grads and experienced educators do earn more money at this than the younger kids do. If you have children, most camps give employee discounts. I doubt this is the type of information you are looking for but I have seen some teachers overlook the idea.

Not a lot of $$$$ either but places like group homes and such are always seeming to look for P/T help. If you get on a per diem list, it's also probably something you could do during the regular school year for extra cash if you want to pick up a few shifts here and there in your spare time.
