Question about PTs
I missed at on 04/07, tested 04/09. I took two tests, both bfp. I tested 04/10, bfn. Devastated. Same day, took an EPT and bloodwork, positive. 04/12, positive. EPT today, a very very weak line. I should be 5w2d. Should I be concerned because the line is so weak?

Re: Question about PTs
I would try one of the digital tests if you are worried. When I was taking the regular tests, the line was so faint, I kept having others try to read it. The digital one will give you a PG or Not PG.

Re: Question about PTs
Have a repeat beta done...that's the only definitive way to know how the pregnancy is going. HPT's have varying results...even the digitals will read a level of HCG as low as 50....

Re: Question about PTs
You say you went for bloodwork. What was your beta number? How many dpo were you when you got your beta done? Are you using the same brand of HPT? Different tests require more HSG to register a positive result. I would go back to your doctor for more bloodwork. All the HPTs are doing is indicating whether there is HSG in your system, not the level. Good luck to you!

Re: Question about PTs
HCG levels vary in your system each day and also person to person. It starts getting higher as you move further along. Bloodwork doesn't lie.
I took 7 HPT and 1 at dr. office and had mixed results. Dr. sent me for bloodwork and that was positive. I was at same point as you. 5wks 3d Do you have any symptoms? Breast tenderness, sensitive nose, nausea, headaches.
Easier said than done, but Relax!

Re: Question about PTs
Nope, no pregnancy symptoms what so ever. Just positive tests. First beta was at 4w4d, this one was 5w2d. (I called and went to the dr today.) crossing my fingers.
