WW question about pts & exercise
Is it bad when you use all your weekly points and then dip into your exercise points?
Will my result just be that I stay the same?

Re: WW question about pts & exercise
No, it is not bad. I would try not to use them all.
WeightWatchers is designed for us to take in less energy than we give out, thus how we lose weight (basically eat less calories than you burn). So, even with your weekly allowance and you exercise pts., it is still designed to help us lose weight.
With that said, personally, I try not to dip into my exercise points.
Maybe share your menu and what you are doing and I can help you stay on your point target. Are you focusing on the filling foods?

Re: WW question about pts & exercise
This week was really my first week just getting used to logging in my points and being honest so I am becoming more aware of what's going in my mouth. So to make up for my challenging week, I had to use my extra points and exercise points.

Oh, I see. As I said, the way the program is designed you will lose weight if you use your daily, weekly and exercise points. And, as you get more familiar with the program you will learn which foods keep you fuller longer and which foods you can avoid because they are just really a waste of points.
Try to stick to the filling foods. At first it is difficult to stretch your points, but you will find things that work for you as time goes on.

Re: WW question about pts & exercise
Thanks so much.
I got on the scale this a.m. and I was down 2 lbs so I'm not too upset because I know I did have a challenge using all those unnecessary points.
Thank God for kickboxing!
I'm sure I"ll reach out to you going forward for some helpful hints/tips.
This is the first time ever I'm being honest to myself and acknowledging what's going in my mouth.
I'm amazed how quickly the points add up. AND of course, I only have 7 lbs to lose

Re: WW question about pts & exercise
It's definitely okay! I do end up always using my flex points but not always my activity points. Some days I am just SO hungry that I have to. If it is real hunger I am okay with it because my body needs it!
Isn't crazy how fast they add up? It is so true that you have to make every calorie count or else I end up starving by the end of the day

Re: WW question about pts & exercise
Well I guess it didn't matter. I lost 2.2 lbs this week.
I'm psyched. 5 lbs more to go (to meet goal) but I'd really like to lose 8 - 10.
