As much as we want the baby to go to bed we miss him after about an hour...

When he's awake I want him to go to sleep and when he's asleep I want to wake him up and play with him! 
Thats kind of my feeling-sometimes we still go in there and stare at them

YES!! I can't wait for them both to go to bed!! DH and I need that time together.
I was sort of like you with Andrew but now with 2, not so much
I am with you!
When DS was little and less active maybe I missed him, but now that he runs me ragged all day, when that clock says 8:30, Mommy does a bedtime happy dance!

Lol-my husband moreso than myself-maybe since I am with them all day and he is only with them for like an hour or so after he comes home from work. The other night he wanted to wake Kyle up just to play with him...but I talked him out of it!!!

lol come 7:30pm my kids are just not cute anymore so off to bed they go.
Yes I do miss them but I LOVE and look forward to bedtime. I know that I miss them b/c while they are sleeping I mimic their little voices to Dh and we crack up.

I definitely miss her when she sleeps. some nights I really look forward to my quiet time but mostly I want to wake her up and play with her more.

LOL I'm like this to a certain degree. After a few hours of playing, I'm looking forward to bedtime. Then when he goes to sleep I watch him in the monitor, and go in his room & look at him and touch him lol! DH & I always joke that we are going to go in & wake him up & play with him. Of course we would never because we like our sleep also! Anyway, you're not crazy

no you are definately not alone ~ I miss DS whenever I am away from him. (I like an hour or two to myself every now and again but...) I do miss him when he is not near me!

It depends-- after she has been fussy and crying for a while, I am relieved that she is finally sleeping so I can take a breather, but on a normal day, I do miss her! I sometimes ask my DH if we can bring her in bed with us bc she looks lonely, and he always says that she is fine and we will spoil her!

OMG!! Every night after DS is in bed I tell him how much I miss him and he thinks I'm nuts.
I just want to crawl into his crib and cuddle up behind him (as if I would fit!!! )
But then again, I TOTALLY cherish the alone time I get with DH. Even if is spent talking all night about how much we love/miss DS.
