My son is a kissing bandit -- with a question also
So - he is a big mushpot and loves kissing everyone - especially little girls.
In Music class today he kissed about 5 girls (and even one or two mothers lol)
I feel funny about this though - maybe they don't want my sons cute little lips touching their childrens faces. For germ reasons - or whatnot! What do you think?
Also - he gives no warning - he got up off my lap - walked across the circle and leaned in for a kiss out of nowhere...there was no way to stop it! If I am close by I do make an effort to though.
Am I being nuts? Any little girl would be lucky to get a kiss from my Jack Jack!

I TOTALLY love it when other toddlers kiss Madelyn- I think it's adorable. I know for a FACT that my SIL would HATE it. She's a germ freak and is convinced that anyone not related to her son has ebola.

Re: My son is a kissing bandit -- with a question also
I would if we were in music class and Jack came over to Mattea and kissed her (even if I didn't know you)
I'm sure there are some mothers who would not be so over that.

Um???????? Is he unable to commit to DD? Because we KNOW they've smooched already. She's going to be TICKED when she hears about Jack's new antics

My DD is the same way and I don't think it bothers anyone.
I think it's cute he likes to kiss. I think most parents wouldn't be bothered by it.

Awwwww that's really SWEET I'm with the "not-bothered" mommies; I figure 25% or so would find it objectionable. THe way I see it this is about 1000 times better than another kid BITING my DS in daycare!

I definitely would not mind it if another child kissed one of my kids. In fact, I think it is adorable & love it!

Re: My son is a kissing bandit -- with a question also
Ryan is this way. He is very affectionate, and loves little kids. He loves to give kisses, and if he doesn't do that, he just gets right up in their faces. We have been working on personal space, but he is just a lovey dovey kind of boy.
But, as a mom I would not mind a little innocent kiss from another kid to mine... it's sweet. It's not like he is tackling them and smothering them in kisses and saliva! It's a cute thing.

Thanks everyone! I didn't want to be "that mom" that the other moms talked about after we walked out of the class

He can kiss Lily whenever he wants!
Be warned though - she's turning into quite the flirt!
