Lump on back of Head

I found one this morning.

I didn't hit my head. It wasn't there yesterday.

It is not bone, cause on the exact same spot on the other side of my head is a small bump, but that has always been there, therefore that is why I think it is a lymph node.

At least I believe it is where a lymph node would be...does anyone have any information on this??

When you say on the back of your head, do you mean like if you traced a line from the side of your neck straight up to where your head and neck meet? If that's where it is, it's a lymph node. I once made my hubby rush me to the er because I had such a large lump there that the skin on my head hurt and it turned out it was just a lymph node, and I had no idea I had a lymph node so high on my head under my scalp. That's probably what it is, but call your regular doc first
