bc pill question
i forgot to take my bc pill yesterday and only noticed it this evening when i went to take tonight's. however, it was a sugar pill. and it was a sugar pill tonight too with the regular pill starting again on fri night. am i ok? does that matter?

You can skip the sugar pills all together if you want. My Dr told me some people do that.
ETA. But you'd still wait the week to start the new pack.

I never take my sugar pills. The times I have forgotten to take an active pill, I just take it when I realize I forgot.. (usually the next day when I go to take that days dose)

The sugar pill is really just a pill to take on the week you're on your period so that you stay in the habit of taking the pill everyday at the same time, etc. It doesn't have any hormones or anything that actually prevents pregnancy, so you could technically skip all of them and just start your real pills on Friday.

Yes - for the past 20 years of being on bc pills, i've never taken the sugar pills. So you're fine!

I never take the sugar pills.. that won't affect you.. If you forgot to take a regular pill, then you would just double up on the next night..

the BC i was on had iron supplements as the week of dummy pills (estrostep FE). so i would take them. but if you dont, no biggie.
