Introducing Lucy Marie...... (pic)
Hey everyone!!
Wanted to jump on quickly and introduce our baby girl to you lovely ladies!
I started having contractions Thursday night at 10:30pm. I actually didn't even think they were contractions at first because it just felt like menstrual cramps. I didn't have any back pain or tightening in the stomach... the only reason I figured they were contractions was because they were coming exactly 10 minutes apart. They progressively started to get closer together and A LOT more painful. We left for the hospital around 1:30am and my contractions when we left were about 6 minutes apart. By the time we got to the hospital (20 minutes later) the contractions were coming right on top of each other and they were EXTREMELY painful! They got me into the triage room to "see if I needed to stay or be sent back home" and as I was standing there having a contraction, my water broke. They quickly laid me down in the bed and told me I was 10cm dilated and her head was +2! She was coming out... at that point I felt like I had to push! They rushed me to the delivery room, and 70 minutes later, little Lucy Marie entered the world... eactly one week before her due date! My whole labor was only 4.5 hours (and this is my first)!! 
I still cant believe I did it naturally (not that I had a choice), absolutely no drugs! I was all about getting an epidural asap but there was just never any time. I never could have gotten through it without my husband. I owe so much to him.

She is so precious, I love the hat and the feet blanket....so cute!
I hope I have a labor like yours, sounds like everything went okay, hope you are getting some rest!!!

I'm doing great! It's been so hectic since coming home yesterday, I haven't found time to come on and say hello. I mean, I'm a little sore "down there" because I tore and had to get stitches, but other than that I really can't complain.
Trying to perfect the breast feeding situation but I think we're doing well so far. I'm sooo in love!!
