CW Post Educational Leadership Certificate

Hi,
Has anyone done a CW Post cohort in a district to obtain an educational leadership and administration certificate? (30 credit program) Just curious to see what people thought about it.

People in our school did it and said it was intense...I think you finish in a year..I did a similar program, but know that requirements have changed in the short time since I completed mine, even...

I am not at CW Post, but I am in the Stonybrook on-line program and it is kicking my butt! It is a lot of work! It will take me 2 years to complete it!

Really? I am looking to start that in the fall.
It is a good program but the work is intense and time consuming. I thought on line would be easier! But it is alot of work!

Hello.....I completed the program last year and it was pretty intense. The program took 2 years to complete. We would meet on Thursdays from 4-8 so it was a pretty long day considering your at work all day and then in class all night. I did it with 6 other girls from my school and we all pulled each other through.....and hey I was able to do it with a toddler at home. FM if you have any more questions.

Adelphi has a similar program. There are quite a few teachers in my school that are currently going through this program. It's not ridiculously expensive, and you're done in a year. It looks pretty intense though.
