Ectopic PG question

What were your symptoms? How did you find out and how many weeks were you?

I had no symptoms (bleeding or pain) until about 6 weeks when the Dr. thought I was miscarrying again. The ectopic was found around 10 weeks and I lost my tube after it ruptured.

TIA

I'm so sorry for your loss. Chat Icon

Here's my ectopic story:

Started spotting in week 7.
Beta dropped in week 8, although spotting stopped.
Beta went up in week 9. That's when they saw that it was ectopic, but not had not ruptured the tube.

Had a shot of methotrexate in week 9. Tube appears to be undamaged.

Bleeding and pain in weeks 9 and 10 following the shot.

Now, I'm waiting for my beta to get back to zero.

I am sorry for your loss. I hope your beta goes down quickly. The waiting game is the hardest.

They tried the methotraxate on me but there was too much damage done and my tube ruptured the week after.

I just found out I am PG again but I cannot acccept it yet until I know where it is. I am having some pain on the side where my tube is and it scares me. It is still too early for a scan so my blood is being montiored.

Re: Ectopic PG question

I started spotting Week 6. Found out it was in my tube Week 8 and had to have surgery - right tube removed.

It took 4 weeks for my levels to get down to zero.

Currently trying again. Are you girls afraid of another ectopic? I am!!!Chat Icon

I AM SCARED! When you have only one tube it is a very frightening time because you dont know where it is until a sono. The fear of losing your only tube is almost unbearable.
I have been living this fear all week. The 2WW saying for me starts AFTER I get a BFP. =)

Just make sure you have a Dr that monitors your blood. From my experience once you have had an ectopic the Dr's assume every PG is one until proven otherwise. They keep a watchful eye.
